“In the end, my Immaculate Heart ill triumph.” – These words of Our Lady at Fatima are not just a prophecy, but a call to arms for men of faith. Now more than ever, the world needs men who are willing to kneel as humble, prayerful warriors under her mantle. A Catholic Men’s Rosary Crusade is a powerful way to respond – uniting brothers in Christ to kneel publicly in prayer, defend the truth, and honour Our Lady as Queen of Heaven and Earth who alone has been given the power to crush the enemy under her heel.
Practical Guidelines for Starting a Men’s Rosary Crusade
Initial Steps
- Gather a group of like-minded men. It only takes a handful to begin.
- Be consistent: same time, same place, rain hail or shine. The Lord will bless your efforts and perseverance.
- Seek the blessing of your local parish priest and ask for his blessing. Although not essential, having the support will always help encouraging the men of the parish to join.
- Reassure the priest that your initiative won’t add to his workload. You and the group can handle the logistics – flyers, promotion and planning – while the parish priest may simply give his blessing and promote it in bulletin and announcements.
Spiritual Preparation
- Pray for this initiative. Ask the Lord to send faithful men to join you.
- Fasting and a novena is always encouraged.
- Dedicate the crusade to the intentions of Our Lady and the triumph of her Immaculate Heart.
Rosary Crusade essentials
- Strictly MEN ONLY (young and old welcome). Fathers are strongly encouraged to bring their sons. There is no greater witness than men on their knees together in prayer.
- Select a suitable public place to recite the rosary – choose a respectful, visible space in the public square, preferably outside the local Cathedral or Church, where you can pray peacefully.
- First Saturdays – Align with Our Lady of Fatima’s request. Hold the crusade on the first Saturday of each month (five first Saturdays devotion) joining the global movement of Catholic Men.
- Timing – preferably after a parish Mass. Encourage the men to attend Mass and participate in the First Saturday requirements and devotions beforehand ie. Holy Confession and receiving the Eucharist.
- Posture of Prayer – kneel while praying the Rosary. Those who cannot kneel can pray while standing reverently towards the back.
- Audio – Use a hand-held loudspeaker or portable PA system depending on group size.
- Visual Witness – A processional Cross or a banner of Our Lord or Our Lady are good to have and adds a powerful visual presence.
- Comfort for kneeling – Have accessible kneeling foam pads for those who may need them.
- Promotion – Start promoting the event at least a month in advance. Use an editable flyer template to customise your location and details, these can be found on the resources page.

Final Words of Encouragement
Men, this is your moment. The Rosary is a sword in the hands of spiritual warriors. In a world wounded by sin and confusion, Our Lady calls you to stand firm, shoulder to shoulder, standing in battle array with your brothers in Christ. Do not wait for permission from the world. Begin where you are, with who you have, and let Heaven multiply your efforts. As Saint Padre Pio said, “The Rosary is the WEAPON for these times.” Pick it up – and lead. May God bless your efforts.
“Give me an army saying the Rosary and I will conquer the world.” — Blessed Pope Pius IX
“Put you on the armour of God.” So, arm yourselves with the arms of God—-with the Holy Rosary—-and you will crush the devil’s head and you will stand firm in the face of all his temptations. — St Louis de Montfort
“The Most Holy Virgin in these last times in which we live has given a new efficacy to the recitation of the rosary to such an extent that there is no problem, no matter how difficult it is, whether temporal or above all spiritual, in the personal life of each one of us, of our families…that cannot be solved by the Rosary. There is no problem, I tell you, no matter how difficult it is, that we cannot resolve by the prayer of the Holy Rosary.” — Sr. Lucia dos Santos (Fatima seer)
