Why do we need this devotion?

Today’s world remains steeped in a culture of sin and vice. Abortion, blasphemy, drug addiction, pornography, divorce, broken families, religious indifference, and the aggressive promotion of immoral ideologies are just some of the many offenses that deeply wound the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

In the face of such widespread moral decay, Our Lady calls us to console her and her Divine Son. She appeals for reparation, pleads for our prayers, and longs for our conversion. Let us respond to her maternal call and make amends for the indifference and ingratitude shown by so many.

The Five First Saturdays devotion cultivates a spirit of reparation and fosters a deeper love for the Sacraments, especially Confession and the Holy Eucharist. It strengthens our bond with the Immaculate Heart of Mary and deepens our devotion to the Rosary. Most importantly, it is a powerful aid for remaining in a state of grace amid the spiritual struggles of modern life in an increasingly secular and hostile world.

We should not delay in embracing this devotion. It is not only an act of love and reparation—it is a source of great hope for our eternal salvation.
