On 18 December, four years ago, a humble group of men met in front of St Mary’s Cathedral to offer reparations and pray for souls, families, the nation, the Church, and the world. None present would have thought their act of faith and public witness would result in the growth of a national movement, re igniting the First Saturday Devotion and devotion to the Holy Rosary for hundreds of men across the country. Men who for too long had been lukewarm, scared, unsure, hidden, or even indifferent. That small gathering paved the way for men all across the country to form their own Men’s Rosary Crusade groups, all in service of Our Lord through devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Our Lady of Fatima.
What was the catalyst in the growth of this movement? How did a humble group of faithful men make it happen? The answer is simple: faith, hope, love of God and most importantly, Our Most Blessed Mother, whose intercession led to the countless graces received by so many men, lifting their hearts towards heaven and responding to the call to serve God by following the plea of His beloved mother and her message of Fatima.
Now is not the time to pause, get comfortable, or even take for granted the wins that have occurred, but instead to put on our spiritual armour, arm ourselves with weapons of faith, and charge into the battle head on. To create stronger bonds, friendships, and connections with men seeking the Good. Men who seek to strengthen their bond and service to God, Family, Church, Community and Nation.
This is why the Australian Rosary Crusade was formed: to unite and embolden men of faith and give glory to God through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. This is why our inaugural retreat, The Triumph of Her Heart, is the ideal place for you and your brothers to gather for a day of worship, prayer, and spiritual direction amongst men from across the country who desire one thing above all: to get themselves, and each other, to heaven.
Join us for Holy Mass, inspiring talks on Our Lady of Fatima and her message, a Marian procession of reparation, and time in Eucharistic Adoration. This retreat is the perfect opportunity to begin 2026 on the right track, to form stronger connections with other Catholic men, and to deepen your journey towards sainthood. Stand shoulder to shoulder with faithful men at Penrose Park on 17 January 2025.
